Statement / Fotografía

 Descubrí la fotografía cuando me encontraba en la década de los 50 años de edad; desde ese momento, inicié un camino de formación, reflexión y acción en torno a la fotografía contemporánea. 

En principio, pensé, que me llevaba a parcelas inexploradas de mí misma; con el tiempo he comprobado que es un excelente camino de introspección. 

Mi dilatada trayectoria vital me permite conocer en propia piel, la intensidad del gozo y del sufrimiento y cómo eso puede cambiar en un instante. 

El “antídoto” que se me ocurre contra lo “efímero de la vida” es saborear hondamente cada momento vivido. En esto, la fotografía puede ser una buena herramienta. 

“Detener” ese momento en el que alguien o algo nos conmueve, nos sorprende, nos atrae o nos “interesa” de alguna manera .... . 

La indagación en “estrategias” de la fotografía contemporánea, plasticidad, atmósfera, metaforicidad, significación de lo insignificante, fragmentación ..., están en mi quehacer fotográfico. 

La búsqueda de “tensión” entre la capacidad descriptiva y la capacidad expresiva (abstracción,  ... ) de la fotografía, también es una constante. 

Plenitud vital; no se me ocurre nada mejor como tema discursivo. 

“Vivir plenamente aun sabiendose vulnerable, aun siendo muy conscientes de la transitoriedad de la vida.” De esto quisiera que hablaran mis trabajos fotográficos. Estoy en el intento. 

Me alegraría poder aportar una estrofa. Una estrofa poética.

Statement / Photography

 I discovered photography when I was in my 50s; from that moment on, I started a path of training, reflection and action around contemporary photography. 

At first, I thought, it led me to unexplored plots of myself; over time I have found that it is an excellent path of introspection. 

My long life path allows me to know in my own skin, the intensity of joy and suffering and how that can change in an instant. 

The "antidote" I can think of against the "ephemeral of life" is to savour deeply every moment I live. In this, photography can be a good tool. 

To "stop" that moment when someone or something moves us, surprises us, attracts us or "interests" us in some way . . 

The investigation in "strategies" of contemporary photography, plasticity, atmosphere, metaphoricity, meaning of the insignificant, fragmentation ..., are in my photographic work. 

The search for "tension" between the descriptive and expressive capacity (abstraction, ... ) of photography is also a constant. 

Vital fullness; I can't think of anything better as a discursive theme. 

"To live fully even knowing oneself to be vulnerable, even being very aware of the transience of life. This is what I would like my photographic works to talk about. I'm trying to. 

I would be happy to contribute a strophe. A poetic strophe.
