Joel Meyerowitz. PHotoESPAÑA 2025. La Fábrica

Joel Meyerowitz, 87 años de edad, me sorprendió su agilidad mental y física, su fuerza ..., sin duda un referente de "plenitud vital" con independencia de la edad.

MOP Foundation. Irving Penn: Centennial

 La colaboración entre The MOP Foundation, The Metropolitan Museum of Art y The Irving Penn Foundation ha permitido tener la Exposición "Irving Penn: Centennial" en Coruña, España.

En su Estudio de Nueva York, con dos plataformas planas de madera, Penn creo el "Rincón", un espacio singular donde fotografió personas como Marcel Duchamp, Walter Gropius, Martha Graham, Georgia O´keefe, Le Corbusier, Marlene Dietrich ... etc

        

"The Corner" se ha recreado en la Exposición. 

En el mismo momento y en el mismo lugar, coincidí con personas que posaron para mi con una entrega como si yo fuera el mismísimo Penn.

Ella estaba con su familia que colaboró en la "puesta en escena".

 

Ella estaba con un grupo de estudiantes de Historia del Arte, charlamos un buen rato y posó para mí.

Él, amante de la fotografía; había viajado a Coruña para ver la Exposición, igual que yo, dije.  

¡Gracias! a las todas las personas que han hecho posible en esta aventura.

 The collaboration between The MOP Foundation, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Irving Penn Foundation has allowed us to have the exhibition "Irving Penn: Centennial" in Coruña, Spain.

 In his New York Studio, with two flat wooden platforms, Penn created the "Corner", a singular space where he photographed people such as Marcel Duchamp, Walter Gropius, Martha Graham, Georgia O'keefe, Le Corbusier, Marlene Dietrich... etc.

  "The Corner" has been recreated at the Exhibition. At the same time and in the same place, I coincided with people who posed for me with a dedication as if I were Penn himself.

  She was with her family who collaborated in the "staging".

  She was with a group of Art History students, we chatted for a while and she posed for me.

  A lover of photography; he had traveled to Coruña to see the Exhibition, just like me, I said.
